Video Software Engineer for high volume consumer web video service (perm, Agoura Hills CA)
We are seeking a Digital Video engineer for a high volume consumer web video service. Our client is a fast growing company and the role is perm with great benefits.

Salary: $80-130k depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of digital video and related technologies (such as MPEG, H.264, AAC, HLS, Dash, RTMP, transport streams, transcoding etc.)
- Video software development experience in a web environment for streaming video or embedded environment (such as Video STB, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, etc)
- C/C++ programming in a resource constrained
- Big Plusses: Wowza, FFMPEG, LibAV, Web development (Lamp, PHP, etc
- Computer science or EE degree a plus – but equivalent experience is fine.
- NOTE: a minimum of 2 years experience is preferred as this role can be for someone less experienced or quite senior (most likely given the required experience.
