Mac OS X Desktop Application Developer – GUI, Multimedia, Graphics software

We seek an experienced Mac OS X developer for a fast-growing video and image hardware/software company offering a suite of exciting consumer products. This role is a key staff position to develop media centric Windows-based software applications, for video and audio editing, titling, effects and content sharing, and user interface development. The Software Engineer position will primarily involve creating and maintaining a Mac OS X application UI and front end in Objective-C, interfacing with core technologies written in C and C++.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Objective-C, C++, and C
- Experience with Mac OS X
- Experience with Xcode 3.x tools and extending the user interface objects to create custom user interfaces
- Knowledge of threading and Grand Central Dispatch
- Experience with Xcode 4.x tools, OS X Lion and App Store distribution a plus.
- Core technologies involve QuickTime and OpenGL, so experience with these is a plus.
- iOS development experience is a plus
- We are creating video processing and editing software; familiarity with video editing tools is desired.
- Image Protocol experience is a major plus – JPEG, PNG, MPEG (h.264), as well as image / video processing experience
- Nice to haves: C#, AV Foundation framework, Open CL, and consumer electronics experience
- College degree in Computer Science or equivalent highly recommended
