Telecom / Wireless / RF Communications Design Engineer (DSP, ASIC, simulation, algorithms) - Temporary - Cleveland, OH
We are seeking a communications systems engineer with experience in the broadband, wireless terrestrial, satellite, or terrestrial fiber-optic spaces. The engineer will do simulation, waveform development, implementation support, design verification, and system test support.
REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION AND SALARY: Cleveland, OH. This is a temporary position, so candidates should be local or willing to relocate quickly. Salary is dependent on experience, but most candidates will fall in the $70,000 – 135,000 USD/yr.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Broadband, wireless, or satellite systems industry expertise is required.
- Extensive experience in engineering design of end-end communications systems, including simulations, performance analysis, waveform development, implementation support, design verification, and system test support.
- Technical analysis of all aspects of end-end communications systems design – from system definition / requirements, algorithm dev, hardware and firmware, and design verification and validation.
- Engineering experience in Signal Processing (DSP) is expected and some experience in ASIC development is a huge plus (Verilog / System Verilog) as is past C/C++ experience
- U.S. Citizenship required, as is ability to obtain security clearance. Current clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, communications engineering, systems engineering, or similar technical degree
