Sr. System / Software Architects for Digital Video Delivery (MPEG, Content Distribution, Web Services)
I am recruiting two Sr System / Software Architects for Digital Video Delivery (MPEG, Content Distribution, Web Services). These are contract roles (expected 6-12-18 months, or even longer is highly feasible) in Atlanta, however you may live wherever as long as you are willing to travel. These roles do involve US and international travel (25-50% est).
Our client is a firm developing equipment and services for content distribution, broadcast video and IPTV, and content management.
The key requirements are:
>> Strong technical understanding of broadcast video or IPTV, content distribution and content management (MPEG, video servers, headends, video delivery, IP networks, etc.)
>> Experience with Web services architectures (i.e. rest – Restful, Java. EJB, S3). An understanding of Java and some software development experience is preferred.
>> A solid ability to Define systems architectures and to participate in the sales cycle, and to develop product requirements… and then to act as a technical lead overseeing the development, integration, and delivery.
>> Strong writing and communications skills – especially for developing system architecture documents and for presenting designs and architectures to customers. Significant technical leadership skills are essential.
>> Technical agree and 10 or more years experience. A willingness to travel as needed including internationally.
