Sr. Network Strategy Architect (HFC, SDV, FTTC, PON, business analysis) – contract in Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a network planning architect to help develop network strategy for video, internet / broadband, and telephony IP based networks. This role requires a solid understanding of network technology and approaches coupled with business analysis skills to evaluate cost / benefit tradeoffs of various network approached. This is a contract position targeted for 2015 (with possibility of renewal) and located in Atlanta.
Expertise desired (some is good enough):
Rate: Depends on experience, but most qualified candidates will be earning in the range of 80k – 150k.
Location: Suburban Atlanta (North / Northeast). Candidates must reside in Atlanta or be willing to relocate quickly at their own expense.

- Hybrid Fiber Coax (“HFC”) architecture and roadmap
- Radio Frequency (“RF”) spectrum allocation.
- Passive Optical Network (“PON”) technology selection.
- PON architecture and roadmap.
- Customer Premise Equipment strategy for video, telephony and broadband / internet
- FTTC architectures and tradeoffs
- Virtual Services Architecture strategy and roadmap.
