Software Engineer - Web Services, Java, UNIX/Linux (with 1-6 years of experience)

Be part of a team developing advanced communications systems software -- leveraging your skills in developing web services and web apps. Our client is a rapidly growing firm with a strong position in the marketplace.
REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident status is required.
LOCATION/RELO: Suburban Washington DC. Client will assist with relocation.

REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or BA Required (Computer Science or Computer Engineering), MS preferred. 1+ year experience is a plus. No more than 7-8 years. less experience is preferred.
- Web applications software development experience using C, C++, Java [Significant Java is a must have as is experience doing web based apps!] and SQL . XML, EJB, or J2EE are also plusses.
- Building web applications/thick applications that automate communications with remote devices systems. Everything from the GUI down to the relational database and mediation with the device is a plus.
- Developing, working and deploying on UNIX or Linux systems. UNIX Shell experience is a plus.
- SNMP and FCAPS experience are plusses but not required.
