Software Configuration and Release Management Engineer (Boston, MA)
Our client is seeking an experienced Release Engineer to build and execute the release process for their cloud-based web application platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION AND SALARY: Suburban Boston (Marlborough), MA. Client will relocate qualified candidates. Salary depends on experience, but most candidates will be in the $75,000 – 125,000 USD/yr. range.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years in release engineering for functional and/or Web UI for complex client server or high volume web applications
- Experience with continuous integration build systems such as Jenkins and/or Bamboo
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Ruby
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet
- Ability to comprehend complex system architectures and find creative approaches for deploying them
- Considerable knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, HTML, DNS, CSS, JS)
- Experience with cloud deployment (EC2, Azure)
- Experience with mobile development
- Knowledge of Linux, Perl, Ruby, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math or related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
