FUNCTION: Senior real-time ebedded software engineer for a firm developing advanced digital video over IP technology for high security, high performance real-time video services, video capture, and video archive. Our client is known for producing innovative and extremely high-performance and optimized video over IP technology based in advanced IP cameras. Our client is well established and rapidly growing, with a global operation.
PROFILE: Most likely candidates will have a Masters or higher in Computer Science or EE -- and 5 or more years of experience in developing embedded software for video and image processing – leveraging expertise in C/C++, MPEG, H.264, JPEG, and IP protocols. Candidates from mid-level to senior are encouraged to apply.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will have done high-performance embedded / firmware code (working close to the hardware) to develop software leveraging the following technologies: JPEG, MPEG, H.264,C/C++, Code optimization, IP Video Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP/RTCP/RTP, DHCP).
