Senior Broadband/IP/Satellite Network Operations Engineer (Field Support) – San Diego, CA
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer to assume the responsibilities of leading a team of applications engineers supporting all aspects of a high-availability global network supporting US Military operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION AND SALARY: San Diego, CA – Our client will relocate strong candidates and will assist with reasonable relocation expenses. Salary 80,000-130,000 USD/yr.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years experience operating and troubleshooting broadband, IP, satellite networks…
- 3+ years experience with Linux based servers
- Advanced experience troubleshooting IP/Network problems at all layers of OSI model.
- 4+ years experience managing and leading a technical team.
- Military background is a plus
- CCNA and/or CCNP
- Expertise in protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, Mobile IP, 802.11b/g, GRE. ARP, and IPSEC.
- Experience with IA and DIACAP practices and standards are a plus, as is familiarity with encryption devices/standards.
- Ability to pass required physical examination.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- US citizenship is required // Current or past security clearance is a plus, but the ability to obtain clearance is required.
