Sales Director East - Software and Technology Products for Broadcast, Advertising, IPTV, and Mobile Content Providers (New York City)
Our client has retained us to fine them a strong Sales Director for a Broadcast Products and Service technology product line. They are a very well established offering software products to TV broadcasters, studios, networks, content providers, IPTV, and mobile video providers. This role will meeting with customers (broadcasters, networks, and content providers), selling services and products, managing the customer relationship, and working to developing strategic business relationships, define future products, and set strategic direction.
Industry background is required in the television / broadcast / advertising / 2nd-screen (mobile, internet) content space – and should ideally have experience selling software or technology products facilitating media and advertising delivery on TV, IPTV mobile, and streaming video.
Candidates must have strong current relationships with broadcasters, networks, content providers, and advertisers, plus a strong track record of delivering sales results in a fast-paced environment.
Also Required is a strong track record delivering sales results, meeting quota, developing business and strategic relationships and selling at both executive and business / technical levels.
Must be: Willing to travel as needed, be exceptionally self-motivated, a strong problem solver, and have strong presentation and writing skills
Location: New York City - Manhattan (nearby candidates will be considered but local candidates are preferred). Candidates willing to relo quickly and at low-cost may also be considered).
Compensation: Base + commission – Compensation depends on experience but most qualified candidates will currently be in the $150-250 range.
