PacketCable Test/QA/Integration Engineer (Contract, Washington DC)
Our client is seeking an experienced engineer to do PacketCable 2.0 integration and QA testing. You will troubleshoot a variety of hardware, software, network, and cable network issues, provide development and detailed bug reports, and troubleshoot customer reported issues. This is a contract position (estimated 6 months).
REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
LOCATION/SALARY/RELO: Suburban Washington, D.C. area. Contract position at $45-70/hr depending on experience. Candidates should be local or willing to relocate to the DC area for the project at their own expense (self-relocate).

- Strong working knowledge of VTP and PacketCable 2.0.
- 2+ years of automated test development. Scripting experience, especially Python, is a plus.
- Experience writing test plans from requirements and design specifications.
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), networking standards and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
