Multiple Positions for Digital Video Test/QA, Systems Integration Engineers and a Principal Engineer
Our Southern California - based client is seeking three engineers to serve on their Digital Video Systems Integration and Testing team. The team is located in the Irvine, CA area – local applicants are preferred, but relocations may be considered for fast-easy relo candidates only.
Position #1 (2 openings): Systems Integration & Test Engineers to integrate existing systems with 3rd party components into a secure, digital cable / video platform.
Experience with the following technologies is expected (the more you have the better): DAC, DNCS, CAS, EAS, DOCSIS, VOD, PPV, SDV, OCAP, Tru2way, MPEG, cable broadcast TV, and IPTV.
Structured QA / Testing experience (automated testing is a plus). Server and database load/performance testing is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Salary: 75,000-100,000 depending on experience + bonus.
Position #3: Principal Systems Engineer
Applicants should possess all skills listed above for Position #1, but will also provide technical leadership to the SI&T team, define the scope of testing, and analyze cross-platform architecture, requirements, and design.
Responsible for planning and leading the design an execution of system testing, VOD testing, platform testing, server load/performance testing, sand systems integration, o strong experience in this area is a must.
Note that this is a senior technical role, not a management role.
Salary: 100,000-125,000 plus bonus depending on experience
