Software Engineer for CDN and Network Performance Technologies (Quincy, MA)
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead their team building next-generation Content Deliver Network (CDN) and internet acceleration software systems. Qualified candidates will have substantial experience leading software project teams building large-scale systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION AND SALARY: Quincy, MA. Client will relocate qualified candidates. Salary depends on experience, but most candidates will be in the 100-160k USD/yr. range.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience building large scale high performance software systems that will serve as Content Delivery, Streaming IP Video delivery, Caching, Network acceleration and internet performance enhancement technologies.
- Experience with web compression and acceleration technologies, including browser development, caching/CDN, search and compression algorithm, database development, data mining, etc.
- 8+ years’ experience in object oriented programming (C++, Java, etc.)
- High performance internet and database systems experience is a plus (such as Amazon EC3)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MS preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
