Director of Sales – Broadcast, Content and Media Tracking & Information Service (New York City, LA)
New Opportunity: Our client is seeking a strong Sales Director for a Broadcast Products and Service technology product line. They are a very well established network and broadcast media information service provider for TV broadcasters, studios, and content providers. We prefer Candidates located in New York City but will also consider candidates located in Los Angeles. This role will meeting with customers (broadcasters and content providers, selling services and products, managing the customer relationship, and working with product marketing to assist in defining future products and strategic direction.
Industry background is required in the television / broadcast / 2nd-screen (mobile, internet) content services industry – and should ideally have experience in systems and services supporting media management, content security (watermarking, fingerprinting), media tracking, media contract compliance, and media delivery on TV, mobile, and internet.
Candidates must have strong current relationships with broadcasters and content providers, and a strong track record of delivering sales results in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with prior experience w/ media intelligence companies are strongly encouraged to apply.
Media Intelligence related product experience is desired and a major plus: If you have prior experience selling media intelligence, media monitoring, media security or similar products we would especially like to hear from you (such as Kantar Media, BVS, Nielsen, Teletrax, Commscore, Volicon Ipharro, MetroMonitor, Competitrack, MoreOver, Civolution, TNS Media Intelligence, Arbitron, etc.).
Functions: Deliver sales results. Meet and exceed revenue targets. Leverage Salesforce.com, Manage and grow customer relationships. Oversee product delivery and assure customer satisfaction.
Must be: Willing to travel as needed, Exceptionally self-motivated, Strong problem solver, strong presentation and writing skills
Location: New York City (preferred) or Los Angeles. Fast and easy relocations will be considered but candidates residing in one of these locations are definitely preferred.
Compensation: 125000 – 250000 (compensation depends on results)
