Director / Sr Director (VP level) of Embedded Software for Streaming Video Devices
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Senior Director, or Vice President with experience managing embedded software engineers. Qualified candidates will have Sr Manager/Director or higher managerial expertise a highly technical background, especially with embedded and client-side software, and will come from a video, IPTV, or Streaming Video niche - IPTV, DTV, cable, satellite, STB, Video on mobile / tablet, video cameras, etc.

LOCATION / RELO / SALARY: Silicon Valley Area, and relocation benefits are available. Salary is 175,000 – 300,000 USD/yr. depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of embedded software management experience
- Experience with IPTV / CATV / Satellite TV and IP video services (such as tablets, mobile devices, Home gateways, IP Video cameras.
- Settop Box (STB) or home gateway / video device (Roku, Boxee, Apple TV, XBOX, Playstation, Vudu) embedded software experience AND/OR Mobile device embedded software experience (Android, iOS), especially as relates to IP Video camera and/or Streming Video software.
- Video and multimedia experience, especially MPEG h.264
- Linux and Unix kernel experience is a big plus, but not required.
