Digital Video (IPTV, Cable, Content) Sales and Support Engineer (Los Angeles, CA)
Be part of a small team providing technical support and sales engineering for integration and deployment of software systems for advanced security for video content delivered to IPTV providers, Cable / MSO's, broadcasters, and Content providers (post-production, IP delivered content). This role will leverage your skills in MPEG, digital video, cable or IPTV headends, Windows administration (important), UNIX/Linux, administration (a plus). This role will provide both pre-sales and post-sales support and must be good with customers and enjoy travelling both locally and abroad as needed. REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
- Experience working hands-on with digital video platforms such as those used by IPTV providers, Cable / MSO's, broadcasters, and Content providers (post-production, IP delivered content).
- MPEG expertise
- Windows administration (important) and ideally UNIX, LINUX, or Solaris Administration (a plus).
- Customer interaction experience (best titles are : field engineer, sales engineer, support engineer, integration engineer)
- Experience working with broadcasters such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, ABC, NBC, Fox etc. are major plusses.
- Candidates must be willing to travel as needed, and must have excellent customer skills and be open to a salary in the 70,000-95,000 USD/yr. range (depending on experience)
