Digital Video Cable/MSO, HFC, VOD Systems Integration and Client Support Engineers (Contracts in San Diego, CA, Tucson, AZ, and Atlanta GA)
We are seeking a number of Digital Video Cable/MSO, HFC, VOD Systems Integration and Client Support Engineers with strong Cable/MSO, HFC, and VOD, IPTV, and streaming video network engineering skills for system integration and QA engineering roles.
Requirements:
Location and Compensation: Contract positions in San Diego, CA, Tucson, AZ, and Atlanta, GA. Most qualified candidates will currently be earning in the range of $70k - $100k. This is a contract role with possible multi-year renewals and or perm conversion. Candidates should be local Atlanta, local Tucson, or local San Diego (or willing to self-relocate for the project).

Requirements:
- Required: experience in Cable/MSO Headend test, validation, and integration in end-to-end digital video systems. DAC and/or DNCS experience is an ideal.
- Strong MPEG2, MPEG4 and video compression familiarity
- Network engineering skills, IP switches, routers, firewalls
- Experience with IPTV video delivery systems and high speed multicast video streaming solutions are major plusses
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and scripting languages – perl, bash, shell
- Systems integration and structured QA and testing experience, including automated testing and scripting.
- Associates or Bachelors in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- Must work daily in San Diego, Tucson, or Atlanta.
