Digital Video / ITV Deployment Program Manager in Toronto, Canada.

Compensation: Permanent position. Candidates currently earning between $100,000 – $140,000 CDN/yr per year are encouraged to apply. The compensation for this role is base + bonus + generous benefits.

I am a unique executive and a skilled Management Consultant and TeamBuilding Executive: heavy tech background (MSEE from Georgia Tech) with 15 years of technical experience, the last 10 as a senior technical manager for companies that deployed digital video and interactive TV systems.
- 5+ years managing major IPTV or digital video deployment projects. CDN or 2nd screen deployment management is a huge plus.
- Experience developing and managing multi-vendor systems integration programs to schedule and managing delivery to major CATV or telco customers.
- Ideal experience areas:
- IPTV Middleware deployment such as OpenTV/Nagra, Mediaroom, Liberate, OCAP, etc.
- Multiscreen and 2nd screen and video/mobile
- Content Management Systems (CMS)
- VOD, SCF and/or Origin server experience
- CDN optimization, DRM, and VOD catalogue management
- Experience with video and audio encoders and MPEG compression algorithms.
- Project Management certification is preferred (PMP or PgMP) or equivalent experience
- BS in engineering or related field. MBA preferred.
