Business Development Manager / Director for IPTV, Cable, Content, and Mobile Software
Our client develops software targeted to Cable/MSO's IPTV operators, and Content companies. Their products facilitate broadcast streaming to mobile devices, time synchronization, digital video fingerprinting, copy protection, and real-time video metadata support. Their business is stable and well established - yet growing rapidly due to new products targeting the simultaneous delivery of IP Video to TV's and mobile devices (such as OTTs, Tablets, Computers, mobile phones, etc.). This role will leverage your contacts, your sales and business development skills, and your industry/technical experience working Service Providers, Equipment providers, and Content companies. Of course the candidate should be great at cultivating customer relationships, building the business, and growing sales -- and enjoy travelling around NYC and the East coast as needed. REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
LOCATION/RELO: Manhattan / New York City. Our client would prefer candidates located in the NYC or Philadelphia area, however candidates in a nearby location but willing to commute as needed will be considered.
SALARY: 125,000-175,000 USD/yr. depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
- Experience developing business, startegic partnering, and selling products (technology - software ideally) to IPTV providers, Cable / MSO's, broadcasters, and Content providers (post-production, IP delivered content).
- An understanding of the ITV business - and its current trends (mobile, OTT, IPTV, etc.) - along with strong contacts and a solid reputation.
- A solid track record growing business with a consultative business development mindset (partnering / solution sales / etc). Industry expertise is required. Technical expertise is a plus.
- Experience cultivating new customers, negotiating sales, and overseeing successful customer delivery. Management and sales leadership experience is a plus as this team is likely to grow.
- Experience working with broadcasters such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, ABC, NBC, Fox etc. is also a major plus.
