Bandwidth Planning Engineer, Professional Services (Atlanta, GA– Contract)
Requirements:
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Contract position—expected yearly compensation between $80,000-130,000 USD/yr. depending on experience

- Experience in bandwidth planning, traffic shaping, and broadband network optimization
- Experience modeling cost vs. capacity
- Experience with HFC, video (SDC, VoD), Data, and Business Services
- MPEG compression technology (h.264, MPEG-2, MPEG-4)
- Broadcast Operations experience, including video, audio, and metadata.
- Prior experience in the television or broadcast network industries, satellite TV, cable TV, or ISP.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
