Architect - Digital Video / Content Management Sys (CMS) & Delivery Networks (CDN) - Contract, Atlanta, GA
Our client is seeking a contract Systems Architect for Digital Video End-End Systems, Video Servers, and Content Management Systems (CMS) to work closely with their clients to define, plan, and execute technical solutions for client deployments.

DURATION, LOCATION AND SALARY: Contract duration is expected to be 6-12 months or longer is quite possible. Location is Atlanta, GA. Candidates should be local or willing to self-relocate to Atlanta for duration of project

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience in systems engineering and systems architecture digital television solution areas – OTT, IPTV, Mobile TV, Video Services, Streaming Video, CMS/CDN’s
- Experience with video compression and distribution, including headend encoders and decoders (Tandberg TV, Harmonic, Envio, etc), multiplexers, video servers etc.
- Experience with Video on Demand (VOD) and IPTV Stereaming Video technologies – such as Arris, Concurrent, Espial, Edgeware, ncube,
- Experience with Content Management Systems and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) – such as Edgeware, Azzure, Limware, Akamai, etc.
- Strong knowledge of networking / IP protocols – switching, routing, security, load balancing. Knowledge of Cisco technologies is preferred.
- Experience with end-user devices for multimedia applications (tablets, smartphones, STB) and in-home networking protocols (DLNA, Samba, etc.)
- BS or MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Willingness to travel estimated at 50% +/- Depending on role.
